Elephants are amazing, intelligent, loving creatures (can you tell that the good ol’ Feel is my favourite?!) – check out this instant where they pick up trash and throw it away in the bin!
Monday’s not over yet! Here is Allah’s Awesome Creation for today…
And boy is it a good one! A mother’s love knows no bounds! Talk about sacrifice 😉
Subhanallah…the colours speak for themselves!
Reminds me of the ayah: “(We take our) colour from Allah, and who is better than Allah at colouring…”
Allah’s Awesome Creation Day: SO much to learn from these fire ants. When they are in trouble, they stick together – literally. If only we did that as an Ummah, where would we have reached and what could we not achieve?!
We have no idea exactly HOW intricate those ant hills are – check this out! It’s like an underground city…Subhanallah!
And doesn’t Allah tell us: (Quran 6.38} There is no land animal nor a bird that flies with wings who are not nations like you. We didn’t miss a thing in the Book then to their Lord they will be gathered.
Check thisout – is it any wonder that there is a Sura named after this intricate and amazing insect?
A great accompaniment to any lessons done on Animals in the Quran!
Allah’s Awesome Creation Day – The mutual relationship between a fig and a wasp!
I did NOT know this… they rely on each other to survive! Check out the video…
Keep in mind also that Allah swears by the fig in the Quran, alluding to its overall importance – much research has been done on the amazing health benefits of this fruit too!
Subhanallah. Check out this video of research on ants communicating … something that has been in the Quran more than 1400 years ago!
‘When they approached the valley of the ants, one ant said, “O you ants, go into your homes, lest you get crushed by Solomon and his soldiers, without perceiving.” He smiled and laughed at her statement, and said, “My Lord, direct me to be appreciative of the blessings You have bestowed upon me and my parents, and to do the righteous works that please You. Admit me by Your mercy into the company of Your righteous servants” (Sura 27: 18-19).’
Aren’t we one of his awesome creation too? We have the potential to push ourselves in so many ways – check out this one pretty amazing way…
I love this! As we all know, Islam and our daily lives are not separate entities…and even if our children go to secular schools, there is no reason we should separate the two. Here is a lovely example of incorporating Islamic wisdom into school… FZ (our lovely young contributor in the past) is back!
Here is what her mum had to say: “FZ recently had the opportunity to do a Spring Project for school by observing and researching a bird she’d spotted over the Spring Break. Sh…e created a pop-up book on starlings that we spotted at Camden Market. It was a great learning experience for the both of us and a good opportunity to explore and reflect upon how and why Allah has described birds in the Qur’an as a beautiful sign of His awesomeness. We learnt that all animals pray to Allah in their own ways and even do Tasbih.
We also learnt that animals have their own communities just as we do. Furthermore, we studied Imam Ali’s (as) Sermon in Nahjul Balagha on birds once again being a wondrous sign of Allah.”
